Update 5/5
This week the Painful Leg Injuries begin a new podcast series called Subharmonic New Homeowner Blues. For our 31st podcast series, I've recorded six improvisations with on subharmonic soft synth I've designed using MaxMSP. For those who may be unfamiliar subharmonics are frequencies that mirror a base frequency moving downwards. Now for my instrument I started from the base frequency of 240 Hz moving down to near the edge of human threshold. The piece is called SNHB1.The latest from El Plan De Aguavodka is a field recording with the Peter Gabriel track "In Your Eyes" removed Eye Theif. People should do that more often. Finally Barry Seroff's supergroup Screwtape concludes their series with the second part of A Coup in Two Parts called Act II.
